LY iTECH’s subsidiary has been awarded the first domestic ISO 30415 International Standard for Diversity and Inclusion in the AI Hardware Smart Manufacturing Industry.

On December 18, the internationally recognized certification body SGS officially awarded LY iTECH’s subsidiary, Dongguan LY Precision Manufacturing Technology Co., Ltd., with ISO 30415:2021 certification for “Human Resource Management—Diversity and Inclusion.” Attending the certification ceremony were Mr. Jia Shuangyi, Vice Chairman, Executive Director, and Senior Vice President of Human Resources at LY iTECH, along with his team; Mr. Rainy Lee, Vice President of the Quality Center, and his team; and representatives from the Group’s ESG team. As the first company in the AI hardware smart manufacturing industry to obtain this certification, this milestone signifies that LY’s practices and system-building in the areas of diversity and inclusion have reached international standards, setting a benchmark for the industry.

Mr. Jia Shuangyi, representing the company, accepted the certificate presented by Ms. Zhang Qiumei, Deputy General Manager of the China Region for SGS’s Management and Assurance Business Group.

ISO 30415:2021, an authoritative framework developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), provides enterprises with a systematic and comprehensive practice framework for diversity and inclusion, covering dimensions such as inclusive culture, the lifecycle of human resource management, the design, development, and delivery of products and services, procurement and supply chain relationships, and relationships with external stakeholders.

Mr. Jia Shuangyi stated that LY iTECH, as a global intelligent manufacturing platform with over 90,000 employees, deeply understands that diversity and inclusivity are the "soft power" cornerstone driving continuous breakthroughs in global precision manufacturing. Taking Dongguan LY's attainment of ISO 30415 certification as an opportunity, we will establish at the group level an employee management system that is more internationally oriented and competitive, continuously enhance organizational effectiveness, and respond to customer expectations through concrete actions. Guided by shared values, we will leverage an inclusive cultural foundation to connect global wisdom.

Mr. Rainy Lee stated that being the first company in China’s 3C industry and the AI precision manufacturing sector to obtain ISO 30415 certification—and one of the very first companies nationwide to achieve this certification—was made possible thanks to the management team’s exceptional forward-looking vision and their unwavering commitment to the governance system. This certification signifies that we have transformed our “diversity and inclusion” philosophy from mere values into a tangible, standardized management system, which will serve as a critical foundation underpinning our global business expansion.

Precision Manufacturing + Diversified Empowerment: LY’s Practical Answer Sheet

The Dongguan LY ISO 30415 certification project was officially launched in February 2025 and took eight months to complete with high quality, reflecting the company's well-established systems and strong initiatives in building a diverse and inclusive workplace. During the certification process, led by the Systems Department and the Human Resources Department, all relevant departments worked closely together, fully cooperating with the audit conducted by the independent third-party organization. They efficiently provided all required compliance documents, smoothly facilitated the successful completion of the system audit, and received high praise from the audit team.

As a globally leading core supplier of AI terminal hardware, LY iTECH has deeply integrated the concept of diversity and inclusion into its development strategy, consistently upholding the principles of "respecting differences and unlocking potential; collaborating for mutual benefit and fostering integrated development." The implementation of the ISO 30415 framework has not only helped the company establish a talent attraction and retention mechanism that meets global standards but has also, through standardized practices in diversity and inclusion, brought together professional expertise from diverse backgrounds and fields, injecting sustained creativity into technological innovation and market expansion across our core businesses: "Electricity, Heat, and Speed" (batteries, thermal management, fast charging) and "People, Eyes, Fold, and Wear" (robots, AI glasses, foldable screens, servers).


Building a Diverse and Inclusive Culture

In terms of recruitment, training, and career development, LY iTECH adheres to the principles of equality, non-discrimination, and equal pay for equal work, providing employees with equal opportunities. Currently, women account for 38% of the global workforce, and this year, the proportion of women among managers at or above the manager level has further increased. The ratio of male to female employee compensation is approaching 1:1, demonstrating the company’s firm commitment to promoting fairness in the workplace. This year, the percentage of female members on the company’s board of directors has risen from 28% to 43%, significantly exceeding the industry average. In April, Ms. Zeng Fangqin, Chairwoman of the company, was elected as a member of the inaugural Professional Committee for Female Directors of the China Association of Listed Companies, thereby driving “her power” at the societal level and enhancing women’s representation in the corporate sector.


In promoting the integration of persons with disabilities into the workplace, the company launched the “Rainbow Initiative” in 2023, aiming to provide equal employment and career development opportunities for people with disabilities and recent college graduates, thereby creating an “accessible workplace.” Currently, the Rainbow Initiative has been rolled out across seven subsidiaries. As of October this year, it has collectively provided job opportunities to 876 individuals with disabilities. Moving forward, the company will continue to expand the Rainbow Initiative to cover all its production sites, ensuring inclusivity without boundaries.
